Terms & Conditions
Payments:
- Full payment is required at time of booking.
- Payments can be made either by completing the online secure booking form or you can phone or mail us with your credit card details using a printed version of our booking form.
- If you book online, you will receive both an automated email response and a personalised email. If booking by phone or post we will send you confirmation within 24 hours of receipt.
Cancellations:
- Should you want to cancel your trek, all cancellations must be made in writing.
- Cancellation fees are charged on the following basis:
- 1 calendar months notice or more a full refund will be given.
- 5 days notice or more a 50% refund will be given.
- Less than 5 days before trek date - zero refund.
- In the unlikely event that AlbaTrek has to cancel a trek a full refund will be given.
- AlbaTrek reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any trip should weather or any other circumstance necessitate this.
Liability:
- AlbaTrek have public liability insurance cover but we cannot be held responsible for accidents, injury, loss, damage or additional costs resulting from circumstances beyond our control. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to take out comprehensive holiday insurance.
Health & Safety:
- In the interest of your safety and wellbeing we ask you to agree to any decision made and adhere to any advice given by your guide.
- Please be aware that you are responsible for your own safety and that walking activities involve a certain element of risk.
- Please notify us in advance if you or any members of your party are suffering from any medical condition or are taking medication which is likely to interfere with their mobility and/or ability to fully participate in the walk.
